Cody P. is a Spokane-based singer-songwriter writing atmospheric alternative from the Pacific Northwest. Textured, vulnerable, and built on two decades of lived experience.
Cody Parsons-O'Brien performs as Cody P. After more than twenty years in music, he is in a new chapter. Not a reboot for its own sake, but a deliberate redefinition of sound, self, and what honesty can sound like when the noise falls away.
Sobriety changed the frame. The songs got quieter in the best way: more space, more texture, more room for the truth to sit unadorned. What remains is atmospheric alternative rooted in introspective songwriting. Vulnerability without spectacle. Production that breathes. Stories that do not flinch.
Based in Spokane and shaped by the Pacific Northwest, Cody is rebuilding with fresh inspiration, new band members, and a catalog that keeps growing. From early singles through Life Path Number Four and Under Way to Couple Doubles and the latest release, In Motion, the path is clear. Influences run wide (Dirty Heads, The Expendables, Atmosphere, Katastro, NOFX, Brandon Hart), but the voice is unmistakably his.
